Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Batter:
    • In a large bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Combine the dry ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:
    • In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and egg until well combined.
  3. Coat the Chicken:
    • Dip the chicken pieces into the buttermilk mixture, ensuring they are fully coated.
